Old violin by William Wilkanowski made expressly for Oliver Ditson Company ca.1910-1920.
Wilkanowki worked for Ditson in Boston and probably his early employer become one of the first clients as it often happens.
This violin is so clean and has spectacular wood and varnish. Also sound is outstanding. It sounds very rich and resonant.
